Initial consultation

The aim of the initial consultation is to establish whether you could benefit from a psychotherapeutic approach, to consider whether you can work with the therapist concerned and to provide an opportunity to begin to understand the difficulty bringing you to therapy. Arrangements including fees are discussed at an initial consultation. The consultation period may last one or more sessions.

Further Sessions

It can be difficult to say at the outset how long the therapy will last. It is a process that develops its own pace and will depend on the needs and aims of the individual concerned. Sessions last for 50 minutes and are held on a regular basis. The frequency of sessions is decided in discussion with the therapist and can be from one to four or five times a week. For some, short-term therapy is most appropriate.

How much will it cost?

Fees are arranged with each individual therapist at the initial consultation.
